Delivered over 100 heating station systems in Finland
Ariterm has established itself as a Finnish expert of heating system, whose core mission is to replace fossil fuels with bioenergy. Since 2006 we’ve delivered over 100 heating station systems of different capacities (200-6 000 kW). In addition, we’ve delivered several hundreds of smaller bio heating containers as well as separate devices to our clients.
Below is a presentation of some of the heating station systems delivered by Ariterm. All heating stations systems of 500 kW or above can be viewed in the attached PDF file.
Leppäkosken Lämpö - Ikaalinen
A 3 MW pellet heating center connected to the district heating network of the city of Ikaalinen. The heating center consists of two 1.5 MW BioJet Multi pellet burners and one 3 MW Ariterm Bio boiler.
Leppäkosken Lämpö - Vihola (Nokia)
A pellet heating center with the maximum capacity of 6 MW is used for heating the Vihola district (part of the district heating network of the city of Nokia).
The heating center consists of two 3 MW Ariterm Bio boilers and a total of four 1.5 MW BioJet Multi pellet burners.
The heating center is able to operate at high efficiency even on a very small partial capacity (200 kW). In addition it can achieve maximum output in less than 20 minutes after start-up and can react quickly to changing demands of heat production.
Kalajoen Lämpö - Pirkonsuo (Kalajoki)
We designed a 4 MW system for Kalajoen Lämpö Oy, which was installed to the extended building of the client’s old HFO heating center. The system works as the first backup boiler of the local district heating network (the main heating center of the local district heating network is the solid fuel boiler of Junikkala Oy).
The heating center consists of two 2 MW BioJet Multi pellet boilers and one 4 MW Ariterm Bio boiler.
Parikkalan kunta - Parikkala
A heating center installed to the district heating network of the inhabited center of the Parikkala municipality. The center has a maximum capacity of 3 MW and it consists of two 1.5 BioJet Multi pellet burners and one 3 MW Ariterm Bio boiler. The heating center works as an adjusting and backup plant within the power range of 200 – 3000 kW for an adjacent woodchip heating center.
Savon Voima - Joroinen
A heating center installed to the district heating network of the municipality of Joroinen with the maximum capacity of 3 MW. The center consists of two 1.4 MW BioJet Multi pellet burners and one 3 MW Ariterm Bio boiler. The heating center works as an adjusting and backup plant.
The heating center has an efficiency coefficient of 93.2% when working on full capacity and 92.9 % when working on partial capacity (50 %).
Halesa Oy - Lähdeniitty
Halesa Oy is building a small housing residential area of 130 houses, which will be completed in 2014. The area uses a heating plant solution delivered by Ariterm: a 1 MW pellet heating center. It’s the largest pellet solution implemented in any Finnish new construction area.
”I’ve been really satisfied with the pellet heating. It has been a streamlined and relatively inexpensive heating solution. And the most important thing is that the solution is domestic, pollution-free and renewable natural energy.”
– Pauli Salonen, Halesa Oy Chairman of the Board
Savon voima - Sorsakoski
Ariterm delivered a 1.5 MW pellet heating center to Savon Voima in the urban area of Sorsakoski in 2012. The heating center consists of two 750 kW BioJet pellet burners and has a backup system of one 1 MW oil boiler. The center is controlled with an Arimatic 2000 control center. It provides heat to the Iittala tableware factory.
Valkeakosken energia - Ulvajanniemi
Ariterm delivered a 1 MW heating center to Valkeakosken energia (local energy company). The heating center has a 1 MW pellet boiler and has a backup system of one 1 MW oil boiler. It provides heat to 11 apartment buildings.
Ingmanin käsi- ja taideteollisuusoppilaitos - Siilinjärvi
Ariterm delivered a heating center to the Ingman College of Crafts and Design in 2012 to provide heat to the campus area (for around 300 persons).
Pellettiküte - Viro
Ariterm delivered a pellet heating plant to Kose, Estonia, which was commissioned during September 2013. The delivery consisted of two 1 MW boiler systems and included a control center as well as screws for fuel feeding and ash removal, automatic sweeping and flue gas cleaner. The heating plant provides heat for a residential area.
